Postal Boxes (Poczta Polska)

The e-commerce industry is growing year by year, and its impact on the country’s economy is increasing. Many companies that previously operated solely through brick-and-mortar stores are transitioning to online sales, which has many benefits from a business perspective. However, the main challenge is how to deliver products directly to the hands of the recipient. In our company, JanBox, we offer postal boxes in various sizes that differ in durability, maximum load, and purchase price, but all of them are exceptionally well-made from cardboard and exhibit above-average resistance to mechanical damage. It’s worth getting to know them up close.

What is most important in postal boxes?

When it comes to boxes designed for sending items over short or long distances, durability against mechanical damage is always the most crucial aspect. That is why, at JanBox, we have chosen personally selected 3- or 5-layer corrugated cardboard, which ensures the highest level of box durability. Corrugated cardboard is relatively resistant to deformation resulting from significant load and withstands the multi-day process of global shipping abroad. Additionally, JanBox postal boxes maintain their aesthetics throughout practically the entire journey, ensuring they reach the customer in good condition. Damaged, torn, and worn-out low-quality boxes create a very negative impression in the eyes of the consumer.

Even the smallest details matter

At JanBox, we do not accept any shortcuts or compromises, which is why you will find only the best postal boxes dedicated to long and intensive international or domestic journeys. Furthermore, all our boxes are free from design flaws. Our technicians constantly oversee the production process of postal boxes, assessing the dimensional compliance with the design and randomly inspecting individual pieces and their craftsmanship. As a result, every customer of our company, JanBox, always receives a set of postal boxes that meet the declared standards and are free from defects or factory flaws. Some of these flaws have a detrimental effect on the visual aspect of the product, while others can cause deformation or tearing of the box in extreme cases. Moreover, the production process of postal boxes does not have a negative impact on the environment, as the cardboard is free from hazardous chemicals.

The impact of box size on postal dimensions

The maximum dimensions of postal shipments are always predetermined by the carrier, and exceeding them has many unpleasant consequences. The primary disadvantage of exceeding the size limit is the additional fees imposed for entering the next size category, and the most significant consequence is the inability to ship the package.

Which size of package should you choose for the post office? Poczta Polska divides accepted packages into size category A and size category B. In the case of size category A, the package can have a maximum length of 60 cm, a width of 50 cm, and a height of 30 cm. Exceeding any of these dimensions automatically classifies the shipment as size category B, in which the maximum width, length, or height should not exceed 150 cm. Surprisingly, the minimum dimensions of postal shipments are also important because Poczta Polska does not accept packages smaller than 9 x 14 cm from the address side.

That is why it is worth purchasing appropriately sized postal boxes that comply with the maximum dimensions and do not exceed the size requirements set by Poczta Polska. This way, you can save both money and time.
